Institute of Measuring and Sensor Technology

Electrifying teaching and research

The Institute of Measuring and Sensor technology operates research and teaching laboratories in the field of measurement and automation technology.

The facilities are constantly being expanded within the framework of industrial cooperation and offer a modern platform for cooperation between industry and university.

Research profile

Our Institute conducts research in the field of applied measurement and automation technology as part of public and privately funded research projects.

Most of the scientific staff are involved in cooperative doctoral projects with various technical universities.

Interdisciplinary cooperation

Our interdisciplinary collaboration focuses on applied projects in industrial research and development. These collaborations utilize the diverse skills of our institute teams and our modern facilities to provide scientific services to industrial companies for complex technical-scientific challenges.

We promote cooperative doctorates, which provides access to talented young scientists. This opens up opportunities to expand our advance development area and minimize risk by involving students and third-party funding. We also use these partnerships as a platform for joint funding applications.

Human Resources:
We offer the opportunity to access promising young scientists.

Expanding the area of advance engineering:
Our collaborations opens up opportunities to expand the area of advance development.

Risk minimization through student development:
By providing third-party funding and the use of students, risks in advance development can be minimized.

Funding applications:
We offer a platform for joint funding applications.

As a competent partner, we offer you a wide range of services in our areas of expertise in industrial and medical measurement and sensor technology. The individual focus of the points listed is based on the wishes and needs of the customer.
