Prof. Dr Stefan Schlangen has been a professor at Hochschule Ruhr West’s Mülheim an der Ruhr campus since March 2023. He is a visiting professor at Hefei University in China and previously held a professorship in General Business Administration and Human Resource Management at FOM University in Münster. Prof. Dr Schlangen has extensive experience as a lecturer in Human Resource Management and Personnel Management at various universities, including Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. His research focuses on recruiting in intercultural and international contexts as well as the analysis of social media in personnel recruitment. Prof. Dr Stefan Schlangen is also the author of several publications on these topics.
