Do you want to make a difference? Shape the future?

Then mechanical engineering is the right place for you. Here you will learn the basics in small teams and in an unprejudiced atmosphere and can then determine your own direction. It's so much more than just plant engineering: development happens everywhere - you are free to decide where you want to contribute and provide new input: smart cars, networked systems, new energy concepts, environmental technology and much more. The mechanical engineering of the future is sustainable, resource-conserving and environmentally friendly.

    What you can expect

Do you want to get started as a woman in mechanical engineering? But you're not interested in outdated role clichés? Do you also want a relaxed learning atmosphere to put your skills to the test? Then an All-Female Programme would be just right for you!

The academic degree Bachelor of Science enables a first qualified career entry. Further qualification to Master's level is possible as an option.

    Your study content

It's all about modern technology that brings technical progress and conserves resources: you design with CAD systems, produce your prototypes with 3D printers and, depending on your individual interests, you can familiarise yourself with robotics, simulations or process optimisation. Write your next chapter yourself and choose your personal specialisations. In flexible mechanical engineering, you are not stuck and can explore new directions at any time.

    What will you learn?

You will learn everything you need to know about modern mechanical engineering in small groups. You can then put your knowledge into practice in exciting projects and utilise your creative streak to create new things. Visits to companies will give you an overview of what is possible after graduation.
