Person
Svenja Kühn studied Economics and earned her doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) at the Technical University of Dortmund with a thesis on the legal-economic topic “The Dematerialisation of Securities and its Economic Significance.” Her doctoral research was grounded in European and national law, particularly capital markets law, combined with business administration contexts.
As an economist by training, she acquired substantial legal expertise through her work as a research associate at the Central Department for Business Law at TU Dortmund and at the Chair of Civil Law, German and European Business Law, Energy Law, and Comparative Law at the FernUniversität in Hagen. This enables her to address both economic and legal issues and to establish interdisciplinary connections.
Her particular interest lies in linking economic and business law questions and in the interdisciplinary teaching of these subjects.
