Prof.in Dr. Isabel Lausberg

Prof. Dr Isabel Lausberg has been Professor of General Business Administration and Controlling at Hochschule Ruhr West since 2015. Her focus areas include internationalisation, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and innovations in teaching.

She serves as the Internationalisation Officer of the Institute of Economics and is a member of the Academic Council in the CHARM-EU university alliance. Additionally, she is a member of the Academy for Excellent Teaching.

Prof. Dr Lausberg is co-leader of the research focus “Artificial Intelligence from an Economic Perspective” and is a certified Data Scientist from the Fraunhofer Institute, specialising in data analysis.

Before her appointment at HRW, Prof. Dr Isabel Lausberg held a professorship at Bochum University of Applied Sciences. She gained industry experience primarily in business development within e-commerce and in strategic planning for a retail group. She completed her academic training at the Universities of Cologne and Duisburg-Essen.
