Person

Since the 2022 summer semester, Sabrina Gippert has been a member of the professorial team at the Institute of Natural Sciences. Appointed to Applied Mathematics, she brings particular expertise in modelling and simulation. The mathematical description of engineering problems and their implementation in source code runs like a common thread through her career.

For many years, she has worked successfully at the interface between academia and practice, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application. Even during her time in industry, she was actively involved in designing projects for students.

Her passion for teaching is reflected in continuous knowledge transfer and open dialogue with young people. Those who work with her benefit from in-depth expertise, interdisciplinary thinking and a genuine enthusiasm for developing solutions together.

You can best reach me by email at sabrina.gippert@hs-ruhrwest.de.
