Johannes Grischa Freiherr von Eckardstein has been working as a Lecturer for Special Tasks at Hochschule Ruhr West since 2017, focusing on Electrical Engineering within the degree programmes ET, MTR, FEEM, MB, and GMT in Faculty 4.
His previous experience includes working in the Redox Flow Battery Laboratory at the Fraunhofer Institute Umsicht in Oberhausen and developing electronic devices and systems at RWTH Aachen, where he also successfully completed his training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems at an early stage. Following his work as a skilled technician, he pursued further education as a state-certified technician in energy technology and process automation in Oberhausen, followed by Bachelor’s and Master’s studies at HRW.
Other projects undertaken as part of technician, Bachelor’s, and Master’s theses include the identification of induction loops, the design of high-frequency constant current sources for inductive impedance spectroscopy, and the development of various controlled and programmable pulse-width modulation sources for LED technology.
