Prof. Dr Schulz studied Physics at the University of Münster, specialising in nuclear and particle physics as well as medical physics. She completed her doctorate at the Donders Institute in the Netherlands, where she developed innovative methods in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) within the field of neuroscience. Her research included projects on the development and feasibility of a noise-free head coil for 3T and a ^1H/^31P body coil for use with the 7T Siemens Terra scanner. At the Radboud University Medical Center, she gained clinical experience, which she integrates into the Bachelor’s programme in Health and Medical Technologies and the Master’s programme in Systems Engineering. Since March 2024, she has been part of the Institute of Measurement and Sensor Technology as Professor of Digital Engineering.
