Prof. Dr Markus Donga: Expert in Design, CAD, and Machine Elements
Prof. Dr-Ing. Dr rer pol Markus Donga brought extensive practical experience when he took up his professorship in the summer semester of 2010.
Born in Bottrop, Markus Donga studied Mechanical Engineering at Ruhr University Bochum and completed his doctorate at the University of Dortmund (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) in the field of packaging logistics. He further enhanced his technical expertise by earning a second doctorate at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Dortmund.
He subsequently worked as Head of Development and Design, as well as authorised signatory in the management of a large medium-sized company in the packaging industry, before joining the Institute of Mechanical Engineering at HRW as a professor in May 2010.
