On 1 January 2017, Nils Malzahn took over the operational management of the newly founded Positive Computing Research Institute.
He studied Computer Science with a focus on Engineering Sciences at TU Dortmund.
After graduation, he worked at the Chair of Intelligent and Distributed Teaching Systems at University of Duisburg-Essen. His current responsibilities include managing the institute and conducting research on digital support systems for knowledge management, learning, and industrial production processes. Insights gained from research and practice are continuously integrated into his teaching.
